Beach, Landscape or History

Hawaii really is a paradise and the variation on the Islands offers something for everyone from the beaches, sunsets and surfing to the lush greenery and volcanoes and magnificent scenery such as the waterfalls, reefs and colourful fish. Surfing lessons are good fun but don't expect to be an expert too soon!! .For ultimate sightseeing the helicopter rides taking you over the amazing landscape offer the most terrific vie you would ever hope to see of these stunning islands. Of course Hawaii also has a colourful history and features museums that commemorate the loss of life and submarines of Pearl Harbour; take time out to visit the USS Arizona and the WWII Memorial.

At One with the Locals

Early Hawaiians were excellent canoe makers. The tradition requires that prayer and food offerings are made to forest gods before, during and after the tree is taken from the forest. The most unforgettable and known local custom today is the flower lei. Custom dictates that a lei should be offered graciously with a kiss and removed only in private. Another famous icon is the hula dance in which hips are swayed along with graceful hand movements and colourful costumes, why not watch or join in with one of these famous dances!
